Remember: State ethics prohibit any person or family from contributing more than $5000 to any candidate for state office. Ethics rules define a family as a individual, his or her spouse, if any, and all children under the age of eighteen (18) years residing in the same household. In addition, corporations are prohibited from contributing to political candidates.
